Dr. Steven Yeun, DPT

Dr. Steven Yeun began his pre-medical education at Syracuse University. He later completed a post-baccalaureate program in Exercise Science and Kinesiology at Rutgers University–New Brunswick and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University–Newark.

Before starting his career in healthcare, Dr. Yeun helped run his family’s high-end restaurant. After the restaurant closed, he decided to pursue his passion for medicine and healthcare.

Having personally undergone more than five surgeries, Dr. Yeun understands the challenges patients can face during recovery. His personal experience allows him to better understand his patients and their rehabilitation journey.

Dr. Yeun takes a patient-centered approach to treatment. Rather than focusing only on pain, he looks at the patient’s overall condition, movement, and individual needs.

​

His treatment approach includes hands-on treatment, movement-based therapy, dry needling, and performance-focused techniques.

Dr. Yeun is TPI certified, dry needling certified, and a Licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
