Radial Pressure Wave Therapy

Radial Pressure Wave Therapy
Radial Pressure Wave Therapy (RPW) is a non-invasive treatment that helps in tissue healing as it addresses chronic pain and inflammation. It is a form of shockwave therapy that stimulates the body’s natural healing process by sending high-energy acoustic waves into the specific target areas. At NJ Sports Chiropractic and Physical Therapy RPW treatment is performed using equipment from Chattanooga (RPW 2) and EMS Dolorclast (DolorClast Radial Shock Waves and DolorClast Focused Shock Waves).
REVOLUTIONARY FOCUSED PAIN RELIEVING THERAPY
RADIAL PRESSURE WAVE THERAPY IS A NON-INVASIVE TREATMENT THAT HELPS IN TISSUE HEALING AS IT ADDRESSES CHRONIC PAIN AND INFLAMMATION.

How The RPW 2 Works
Chattanooga is the world's largest manufacturer of rehabilitation equipment for treating musculoskeletal, neurological, and soft tissue disorders. We use the Intelect RPW 2, which addresses pain and inflammation in orthopaedic conditions. It is designed to activate connective tissue from the surface level to difficult-to-reach pathologies. A handheld applicator is applied directly to the target area where pressure waves are delivered through the skin to the injured tissue, increasing the blood flow to the site and accelerating the natural healing process. The strong energy pulses create tiny bubbles which penetrate tissues and stimulate the repair process within the damaged tissues.

DolorClast Radial Shock Waves
The DolorClast Radial Shock Waves is a premium high-energy shock wave therapy device. It is part of Guided DolorClast Therapy. This is EMS' new holistic solution for the treatment of musculoskeletal pathologies. It will help overcome pain for sensitive patients or painful pathologies.

This device has integrated dual compressors with an optimized air management system that delivers constant, high-energy impulses up to 25 Hz, all without needing an external air compressor.
